Preview of Chapter Report

Iota Delta is excited to announce the addition of seven new men to our chapter this spring, expanding Iota Delta's active number to twenty-three men. With seventeen expected to return in the fall, Iota Delta is optimistic toward an exciting future as a young chapter. However, Iota Delta’s success does not end there, the chapter is proud to announce that our GPA was the highest among all Greek organizations on campus, registering a 3.09 GPA for the fall semester of 2008.

The chapter has also been involved with various activities around campus. This includes five varsity athletes participating in tennis, golf, and volleyball. We also have several Student Senate members, Mock Trial participants, Pre-Law Club members, a number of members involved in Resident Life, as well as a number of writers for the school newspaper, The Falcon. Many of the brothers have also found the time to help with the mission trips offered by our Campus Ministry, going to places like Haiti, New Orleans, Virginia, and New Mexico. Iota Delta has participated in various service projects such as helping various organizations set up their events that involve working the Universities Presidential Inauguration, helping with blood drives, cleaning up local parks, and participating in the local Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program. Iota Delta also held a kids day where local children could come and play kick ball and other fun activities. Along with some of our service work, the chapter also held a successful fundraiser, which stabilized the chapter financially.
