Iota Delta Holds Successful Fundraiser

On Sunday April 19th, Iota Delta hosted a bags tournament where the chapter hoped to establish some financial stability. Although the weather was nasty, and the intended surface was wet, the chapter did not quit. In the clutch, the chapter moved what would soon be a successful event to the QU Health and Fitness Center. The idea brought up by Brother Tino Mirabelli (Tau Class) became a success raising over $630 for the chapter. Brother Mirabelli did a good portion of the planning for the event where various members of the QU community came to display their bags skill, and in the end Iota Delta's own duo of Jake Egelhoff and Kyle Leonard were victorious taking home the top prize. The chapter had received donations from local businesses such as The Abbey, TGI Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings, and County Market. The chapter was so impressed by the success that we are now looking into making this an annual event.
